Smokey Bay is a seafood wholesaler in Vancouver that exports a variety of seafood products to anywhere in the world. They reached out to us because they wanted to redesign their outdated e-commerce website. That was a good decision because the design of their existing website was all over the place. Many things didn’t make sense and it was difficult for visitors to find the seafood products.
The main goal with the new website was to streamline the website to make it easier to use. From our experience with Trafiq, we decided to place all their products front and centre on the home page so that their visitors are presented with all the products in 1 place. This can help increase overall sales as visitors looking for a specific seafood product may very likely spot other products they would be interested in buying.
The redesign was a big success. A month after taking the new website online, Smokey Bay informed us that they are receiving a lot more inquiries about their products compared to the old website.
